To obtain a perfect coating on metal products during powder painting, you must adhere to some rules, these are:
Powder paint does not require special storage conditions. The main thing is to adhere to the temperature regime and air humidity.
Storage temperature of paint: from 5 °С to 30 °С.
Humidity: 50-60%
Under these conditions, the paint will retain its flowability and will not clump.
The sieving process is important for paint that has not settled in the first coat and will be used for re-painting. This will help you avoid debris, lumps and other contamination. For this, a vibrating table (vibrating sieve) is used.
A vibrating table is a device designed specifically for sifting paint that comes from a recuperation system (with an automatic line) or the paint is fed to the sieve manually.
The principle of the sieve: thanks to the rhythmic vibration of the metal mesh, the powder is sifted and fed into a special box. Dirt and lumps remain on top of the sieve.
Powder paint to be sieved is poured manually or automatically through a cone from above into the device. After that, the lid closes with latches. The air inlet is supplied at the required pressure. The gradually sifted mixture enters the box: the paint is ready to use.
The vibrating table is driven by a vibrating electric mechanism, which is plugged into a regular socket with a voltage of 220V – 50 HZ.
The vibrating table has a high productivity, on average 20 kg per hour. The device can work for a long time without interruption. But to increase the life of the motor, it is worth resting the vibrating table every 4-5 hours for 40 minutes.
The sieve size is selected depending on the composition of the paint mixture. Typically, the cell cross-section is 0.3 * 0.2.
