The device of an industrial spray chamber

The spraying chamber is a kind of box with holes for powder spraying, loading / unloading of parts. Its walls are coated with powder paint. The joints must be sealed.

Depending on the type of device, it can be equipped with one or more working openings for painting and openings for loading products.

The spray chamber has a working area, a filter unit and a control panel. The working area is a one-piece structure in which the powder is sprayed. Lighting is provided from above in the chamber. Also at the working area there is a device control panel.

There is a filter unit at the back of the camera. A hole is provided at the top for connecting the exhaust system.

How the spray chamber works

The main task of the spray chamber is to make all unapplied powder remain in the paint zone and was collected. Then this powder is driven through a filter and a recuperator, enters the hopper for reapplication on the product. Thus, material consumption is minimized and production significantly saves money.

In addition, the camera also ensures that purified air enters the working area so that the painter works in a comfortable environment.

The production of spray chambers is usually made according to previous order. Engineers must take into account the workshop, its size and structure, as well as the products themselves.

The chamber is regularly cleaned with an automatic pulse blowdown. But sometimes it is necessary to additionally clean the filters. You should also regularly check their condition in order to replace them with new ones in time. The quality of powder coating directly depends on it.
