Pipeline protection solution

The use of metal structures and pipelines that do not have a protective anti-corrosion coating is fraught with a sharp decrease in their service life, and they are quickly destroyed due to various oxidative reactions.

Acids and oxygen gradually destroy the crystal lattice of the metal and it deteriorates.

Heat, cold, moisture and much more also negatively affect the state of the pipes.

Rust is one of the biggest and most frequent problems that significantly reduce the service life of pipes for various purposes.

In order to protect water, oil and gas pipelines, pipes are coated with a coating that provides corrosion protection. This can be galvanized zinc, the application of paints and varnishes and polymer compositions.

Powder coatings are a great way to create protective coatings for the exterior and interior of pipelines. They provide a huge range of coatings that can be used in a wide variety of environments and conditions.

Powder coating benefits

Powder coatings provide protection against rust and reduce friction of the transported product. The powders form a smooth coating that is resistant to solutions of salts, alkalis and weak acids.

  • Powder paints have good adhesion and are resistant to mechanical and weather influences.
  • The coatings can withstand operating temperatures from -60 ° C to + 150 ° C.
  • Powder coating is shock resistant.

Powder paint can last up to 20 years, subject to technology and the use of high quality material.

And if it is necessary that the pipes are not only protected, but also have an attractive appearance, then absolutely any color from the RAL catalog can be chosen for pipe coating.

Coating technology

Powder coating of pipes begins with surface preparation.

First, they are cleaned of dirt, previous coatings, degreased and phosphated. This increases adhesion.

After that, the surface is dried and powder paint is sprayed onto the product. In order to apply powder coating on pipes, an automatic spraying line with a continuous spraying chamber and a polymerization oven must be installed in production.

In the polymerization oven, the powder melts, forms a film and hardens. If you adhere to the technology, then the result is a high-quality protective coating that can withstand heavy loads.
