This surface treatment technology was developed back in the 1950s. Powder paint, after application, needs a polymerization oven, which melts the powder paint with high temperature and forms a reliable protective layer on the metal parts of the body.

In order for the paint to be sprayed on a metal product, it must receive a charge. This process can be carried out from an external source, or from the friction of paint particles on the barrel of the gun.

The polymerization process itself occurs due to high temperatures, which melt the powder paint, the product is placed on a special stand, with a fixed part in a special chamber.
As a result, a dense film forms on the treated surface, which not only adorns the outer part, but also protects it well from corrosion and is quite resistant to mechanical damage.
How does a spray gun work
The essence of this device can be divided into 3 main stages:
- The paint is poured into a spray gun and the device is connected to electrify material particles. Powder paint is charged as it passes through the gun ports.
- The product is grounded.
- Powder paint is applied to the surface.
In addition to the spray gun itself, the technological line contains a certain group of nodes, the list of which is given below.

- guides for moving the racks into the chamber for further processing;

Important! When handling powder paints, use personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, a respirator and long sleeves.
