In order to obtain a high-quality powder coating on products, there are basic requirements for the powder coating process.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Clean painting area<\/b><\/h2>\r\n

The powder painting area must be\u00a0 clean. It is important to avoid getting on the surface of external objects: threads, hair, stains, prints.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

It is obligatory to run wet cleaning of the equipment from paint residues after each shift.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Powder coating quality<\/b><\/h2>\r\n

Powder paint should be delivered to the powder coating workshop in boxes that are labeled and have a technical passport.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

It is advisable to test each paint instalment quality.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Main paint defects are clumping and aggregation, humidity above norm. This happens with improper storage: high humidity, temperature drops.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Paint clumping must be reworked (grind to the required size). Sometimes, sieving might be enough for small particles aggregation.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Paints that were stored in a room with high humidity have poor flowability, tendency to aggregation and do not charge well. These paints should be dried before further application.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Take into account that the powder paints are turned to change over time, so avoid their long-term storing and do small reserves.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Powder coating process<\/b><\/h2>\r\n

It is necessary to observe the temperature conditions in production strictly, especially during the curing process. All temperature conditions of the paint are written in the passport or on the label on the box.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Sometimes it is worth warming up the product before painting. This rule usually applies to glass, ceramic and MDF. After preparatory work the product is heated in a polymerization chamber at a temperature of 180\u00b0C for 10-30 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Grounding the product<\/b><\/h2>\r\n

Correct grounding is the success of the subsequent paint application. When powder paint is applied to a surface, a large amount of negative charges are transferred to the product, thereby repelling the paint. Therefore, grounding is an integral and essential part of the spraying process. Appling a sufficient powder coating layer for obtaining a beautiful surface is impossible without it.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Exclude the contact possibility of the processed products with each other during the transportation.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

After polymerization, the product must be cooled to room temperature.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Touching hot items will leave dull stains on the surface.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
