The polymerization oven is needed so that the powder paint particles on the painted product melt and become a single uniform polymer coating. When designing a powder paint polymerization oven, the drawings of the device are sent to you by engineers for agreement. This is necessary in order for the finished oven to fully meet the needs of production and work perfectly.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Curing oven: construction<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The polymerization oven is a prefabricated structure made of thermo panels. Inside, they are filled with heat-insulating material. The stove is designed in such a way that the required temperature remains inside for a very long time, there is no heat loss. The outer walls must not be heated. If you observe the heating of the oven from the outside, you need to check if all its elements are in good working order. The oven is closed by a door. It is also thermally insulated. A heat-resistant profile is installed along the perimeter of the door. In order to ensure complete tightness of the chamber, there is a locking mechanism on the door.<\/p>\r\n

The thermo panels, of which the oven is made, allow you to add volume to the device at any time or, on the contrary, reduce it.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The chamber heats up thanks to the thermoblock. It is located so that you can quickly inspect it, and, if necessary, replace the failed elements. Air circulates through the chamber also thanks to the thermoblock.<\/p>\r\n

An extractor hood is installed in the chamber. It draws out substances that may form during the polymerization process.<\/p>\r\n

It is impossible to figure out how to calculate the ventilation of the polymerization oven on your own. This can only be done by specialists. Since this indicator is influenced by many factors: the volume of the oven, the size of the painted products, what is the temperature and polymerization time, and the type of oven.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Polymerization oven: instruction<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Load the powder coated product through the doorway. If you have a transport system installed, it will do it for you. Close and lock the door.<\/p>\r\n

On the control panel, turn on the introductory machine and press the START button. After that, the thermoblock will turn on, the camera will start heating up.<\/p>\r\n

The control panel has a thermostat. Set the required temperature on it. It is different for each paint, and is indicated on the package with the powder. After the oven has warmed up to 140 \u00b0 C, the extractor hood is switched on every 5 minutes for 10 minutes.<\/p>\r\n

When the oven heats up to the required temperature, the heating elements are turned off and the time relay is turned on. The polymerization time is also set on the control panel.<\/p>\r\n

After the end of the polymerization time, the oven beeps. This means that the product must be pulled out. Do this carefully – it is hot.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Types of curing ovens<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Before buying a polymerization oven, familiarize yourself with the types of devices.<\/p>\r\n

Furnaces are infrared and convective, gas or electric. They can be combined.<\/p>\r\n

Infrared ovens are easy to operate, heat up very quickly and increase energy efficiency. They warm up evenly and provide high-quality polymerization of the coating. At the same time, they consume less electricity. If you want to buy an infrared polymerization oven, keep in mind that, as a rule, such ovens are specific and are used in highly specialized places.<\/p>\r\n

Convection ovens take 20% longer to warm up and consume more electricity. However, they are cheaper than infrared. This is the most common production oven.<\/p>\r\n

A gas or electricity stove should be selected based on what is available in production. A gas polymerization oven, the drawing of which must be required from specialists, is cheaper to operate. Although the cost of a gas stove is 2 times more expensive than electricity.<\/p>\r\n
