Powder painting requires specialized equipment. And it is very important to choose it correctly, so that everything works as it should, and the coating is of the highest quality. Therefore, today we will talk about what a spraying chamber should be for the successful application of powder paint to the painted surface.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Characteristics and principle of operation of the spray booth<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The spray booth is a one-piece metal sealed box with polymer sheathing. It has transport elements, a control panel.<\/p>\r\n

The hooks on which the product is suspended provide grounding.<\/p>\r\n

The camera works like this: the fans take in dirty air with powder particles from the working area. The powder is sifted out in the recuperator and sent back to work. And the air is filtered and the already purified air is sent back to the working area. In order for this process to be carried out, a ventilation system is provided in the spray booth.<\/p>\r\n

The recuperation system consists of a recuperator, filter, fan, receiver and air supply system.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The spray booth can be through and dead-end. The former are intended for use on automatic powder coating lines. And the dead end is more often installed for spraying paint onto small parts. They have only one opening through which the product is loaded, painted and unloaded.<\/p>\r\n

Cameras are also divided into single-post and double-post cameras. The difference is that in the first only one painter can work, and in the second two. Two-station models have two filters and two recuperators.<\/p>\r\n

Correct spray booth<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

So, no matter what type of spray booth is installed in production, it must meet certain requirements in order to ensure the quality of paint spraying. And of course, so that she can collect the maximum amount of powder and return it to work, which means saving money.<\/p>\r\n

The temperature in the spray booth should be optimal for the comfortable work of the painter. There should not be any devices near it that can strongly heat the air. After all, the paint begins to melt at high temperatures. And if this happens before the stage of baking in the oven, then the coating, of course, will be defective. In order to maintain a constant temperature in the chamber, there is a heat exchanger in it. It can be recuperative or regenerative. The second option is better because it eliminates the possibility of hot spots. And it needs an additional recirculation system.<\/p>\r\n

The spray booth pressure must always be reduced. This is the only way to avoid powder flying out of the device. Air must constantly be sucked out of the work area and into the recovery system.<\/p>\r\n

With regard to ventilation. It can be single-engine, twin-engine and supply and exhaust. A single-engine one delivers air from above, from below it leaves itself. The twin-engine ones also have a motor that helps the air escape. And the supply ventilation of the spray booth can provide active air circulation with filtration and purification, intake of clean air with filtration and its output without purification, as well as drying.<\/p>\r\n

Luminaires must be LED and have a wattage of 600 to 2000 lumens. Light scattering should be uniform. Light bulbs should be on the ceiling and walls.<\/p>\r\n

Only a specialist in this field can accurately calculate the power and functionality of each constituent element of the camera.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Maintenance of the spray booth<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In order for the camera to function normally, it must be serviced.<\/p>\r\n

It is necessary to regularly check the serviceability of all elements. If something is broken, replace it with new ones.<\/p>\r\n

Every day, the painter must clean the inside of the device from the remnants of paint and varnish material. Filters should be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner or compressed air every week. When the filters no longer work efficiently, they must be replaced with new ones.<\/p>\r\n
